Does anyone know of any articles/books that state that breastfeeding alone
is nutritionally sound in a baby of one year of age? I have a patient whose
one year old is refusing solids and her mother (a LC, by the way, who
happens to pass out formula at her breastfeeding class!) is pressuring her
to wean. The patient is content with things the way they are; the baby is
healthy, growing, etc. I haven't been able to find any articles that will
assure her that she is doing her baby no harm.
Thanks in advance.
