Congratulations on such a heads up project! From personal experience, I
would suggest you group think REAL hard about doing a luch time
presentation. Many staff will be wrapping up morning patients and arrive
late, and others will leave your presentation early to prepare for the
afternoon patients. There will be lots of traffic in and out and people
trying to get lunch, etc. and you might very well find the less than
half the staff will actually hear all of what you say. This is very
distracting for the presenter and those who really want to hear what you
say. A breakfast before the office hours begin or a "wine and cheese" at
the conclusion of the day might get a more attentive audience. Is there
a morning when the docs are all in a meeting so there are no patients in
the office? that might be an opportunity...Of course, you miss the docs,
but were thay coming anyways? Giving the practice $75.00 worth of books,
lunch, and pens and papers..Wow!..try and create a situation which
captures the audience...yea, bring ropes and chains!!!
