I saw this at an ABM conference where Lansinoh was invited but not Medela. They are equally code violators.

Lansinoh is a Code violator in its own right. They market the mOmma feeding bottle and nipple in a manner that violates the Code. Taking part in a marketing campaign such as the one described could pave the way for the manufacturer to use your name, your hospital's name, and a phrase such as, " 9 out of 10 IBCLCs recommend our product." I definitely do not want my hard earned credential to be paraded to the public as a peddler of products from a Code violating company. The best option is to return the entire package to Lansinoh explaining that you will not be used as a marketing tool for a Code violating company. Handing out the pump to mothers simply endorses the product and the unsavory marketing tactics that placed it in your hands in the first place. Part of the reason pumps are so expensive is the marketing expenditures that companies use to get the product in the hands of the consumer. Many low income mothers may qualify for a pump through their insurer or the WIC program. We do not need to be the vehicle for marketing products from Code violators. Just say no.
