The surgical removal of both ovaries should not affect milk production other than the usual issues of interruption from separation, length of time w/o nursing or pumping, HCP concerns abt meds. Prepare w/pumping in adv, esp shortly bef leaving your room. Have hosp provide a pump or bring your own. Have an adult bring one or both babies to "visit" as soon as you are back in your room. Have an advance talk w/surgeon & anesthesiologist abt all meds WITH your M&MM by Hale in your hands. Anything used during a c/s delivery is likely used during this surgery also. Esp review the med Versed in case the anesth only reads the PDR. No, you don't have to pump & dump for 24 hrs because of Versed! Place an advance rqst for the hosp's LC to visit you.
I can't comment about your future surgery at this time. I think you might bebefit bwst from some of our good physicians ln this list for your later issues.
Best wishes to you.
