I'm fairly sure that children under 2-3 need more fat than you or I in
their diet.  This is for brain growth.  I'm sure the fat in breast milk is
just a fine source for a toddler. Fats in diet can come from lots of
sources.  We know now that some fats are better for us than others (ie:
milk vs. olive oil).  Maybe an RD on list can comment.  Sincerely, Pat in
