This is a general request for advice from any of you who have set up
lactation clinics. I am a recently credentialed IBCLC, with an MPH, but no
clinical degrees. I have been doing LC work for years, classes and
research, but increasingly one-on-one consulting. I work in a large
indigent care center on the border with Mexico, and as luck would have it,
we have a CNM clinic here too. The CNMs are willing to work with me in
setting up appointments specifically for lactation consults a few days a
week in their facility. If there is anyone out there, especially from
Texas, who has done this and can help us with billing codes (most patients
are Medicaid and Title V) ideas, and general plans I would love to hear
from you privately.

Thanks, once again, for the wonderful resource that you all are,
