You will find the National Guideline Clearinghouse™ (NGC), a public resource
for evidence-based clinical practice guidelines. NGC is sponsored by the
Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (formerly the Agency for Health
Care Policy and Research) in partnership with the American Medical
Association and the American Association of Health Plans. ILCA's publication
"Evidenced-based Guidelines for BF Management during the First 14 Days" has
been added to their site and if you search "breastfeeding" you will find it
mentioned favorably in other evidence-based guidelines. Those of us trying
to effect change, do BFHI, etc. will find this gives much credibility to our
bf guidelines. Thanks, ILCA, for the publication and getting on this
website. Both are great accomplishments.
