When I was doing surveys for our hospital (in my former life), I was told
that anything above 30% for a response rate was actually excellent.  Perhaps
that has changed?  What is the current thinking on response rates to surveys
to make them valid.

And Nikki, did you mean to imply that they deliberately exclude our Asian or
Indian moms? (Actually, East Indians are considered to be caucasian -- that
is according to my East Indian SIL)  How do they do that?
