Maybe you are thinking of Parlodel (bromocriptine mesylate)?
There was a small problem with "maternal deaths, seizures, and strokes." The suggested alternative is cabergoline aka Dostinex.
Just copying from Hale's PDA info - not suggesting or advising or anything else. Haven't heard of anyone actually using Dostinex for lactation suppression.
Head OB at my hospital won't consider Vit B6 without large random double-blind studies for the specific purpose of lactation suppression. He wants evidence, naturally.
