Here is the response from my letter to Thyme Maternity:

September 21, 2001

Dear Ms. Blomme

Thank you for your recent letter regarding Thyme Maternity's affiliation
with Mead Johnson. At Thyme Maternity we pride ourselves on offering our
customers support with regards to pregnancy related issues in order that
they can then, in turn, make informed decisions. Thyme Maternity is and
always will be committed to the principle that no marketing practice we
engage in should be designed to discourage breast-feeding.
We, at Thyme Maternity, will continue to affiliate ourselves only with
companies who endorse breast-feeding as the superior form of infant
nutrition. We will continue to support companies who are committed to the
highest standards of marketing, as well as companies who fully endorse and
adopt the WHO code in developing countries, including standards for product
integrity, labeling, distribution and promotion.
Also please allow us to re-iterate our privacy principles. Whenever a
customer provides personal information to Thyme Maternity on-line or at our
retail outlets, we use practical safeguards to make certain that the
appropriate steps are taken to ensure your privacy. One of the privacy
principles allows anyone to withdraw at anytime consent to receive

Again, thank you for taking the time to contact us with your concerns. It is
with communications from our customers that allows us to serve you better in
the future.
Sincerely,
Daniel G. Langevin
Vice President Marketing
Shirmax Retail Ltd.

I am trying to find the study that showed that women receiving formula
information were more likely to formula feed even if they intended to
breastfeed. I am writing a response to their response and would greatly like
to add this information. As well if you have anything else I should add I
would appreciate the info.

thanks bunches.

Patricia Blomme
