Hello all,

I have a few questions and I hope it will not be covered under the bunch of
posts of the last days.

I got an email from a woman who has breastcancer. She wrote her story (it
can be read in Dutch at: http://home.wxs.nl/~heijm039 ):

She writes that when she was pregnant her docter advised against
breastfeeding, bc of the toxins in human milk (this has been a big issue in
the early eighties and before, here in the Netherlands). Right after the
delivery she received a shot with a medicine to suppress the
milkproduction. Later she found out it was estrogen.

when she got breastcancer she was surprised, bc in her family with a lot of
females, nobody had it. she started to research the issue and did a small
research in her environemnt and found out that all the (young) women with
breastcancer had received lots of estrogen (eg, from the old bc pill, or
the morning after pill, etc). So, now she thinks that the shot with
estrogen she received to suppress the milk production has caused the
breastcancer.

Now my questions:

*what do you think about ths theory?
*is there any reserach to this subject?
*regarding the different outcomes in the relation between breastcancer and
breastfeeding, is there research where the administration of
milksuppressing drugs is one of the control factors?

This woman would like to receive a reaction on her email. Can you help me?

TIA!!!
