I have sent a search in the archives, but I'll ask here too: is the advice
to wean in order to take Procardia (Nifedipine) for high blood pressure current?

I read Briggs and it was helpful, but I would like further info if you know
of it.

Mom has had hbp for a long time and it hasn't been treated but now (when she
is b'feeding) doc wants to treat it. Procardia once a day.  I suggested that
she ask about lower dosage more frequently if she chooses to treat at this time.
