Just for fun at my breastfeeding class on Sat, I asked the question: What
would you think if you bought a breastpump and tried it and nothing came out?
One of the fathers immediately said "The pump doesn't work!" I then
asked.... "any other thoughts?" A mother piped up "I'd think I didn't have
any milk!" AHA! said I ( in my subtle manner), you both could be right!
Probably if the pump is made by a company that makes baby equipment, the
pump is at fault. Some pumps just aren't good at getting the milk. That
does not mean the milk isn't there! AND what happens if you fail to get
milk? (They all knew the answer to that one). Then we talked about the need
to get an assessment if, indeed the milk supply is low.

Fascinating to me that the male would immediately blame the equipment and the
females blame themselves.... HMMMMMMmmmmm
