My husband knows a mohel (traditional circumciser) in the US who actually
performs most circumcisions on  babies who aren't Jewish.  This is because
the operation is performed quickly, with no clamp (there is a special guard
instead), the baby is allowed to breastfeed up to an hour before the
circumcision, and immediately after.  It seems that once one family got
ahold of this man's name, he became "famous.."  Incidentally, he is also a
practicing pediatrician.
