We have had paid peer counselors whose nurslings came to work at WIC since before I started there in 2000. We have had two that were older nurslings, and the moms had trouble with them only because just BEING with mom had lost its allure. They wanted to DO stuff! We were inches away from having to put an age limit on the nurslings who could come to work with mom when one moved and one entered preschool. I don't have any PC's with babies at work now, but I probably will next year. :)
