That's the beauty of getting after the journals and researchers to get it right.  If they phrase it right, the media pick it up and repeat it the same way - they can't (and don't even want to) invert it.  *Everyone* hears it the right way around, and the message, scary as it is, is directed at *no one in particular* and at no special stage of life.  Like messages on exercise, smoking, eating vegetables.  It enters the cultural consciousness more easily, and we get to have the role of helping people do what they already want to do.  Very different from our having to be both message-bearer and helper.  Let's make sure we object when the journals and the researchers do their jobs wrong!
