I've deleted the posts, but someone thought that the Daktarin (miconazole)
cream was stronger than the gel. I've looked up my book and it says the gel
is 20mg/ml and the cream is 2%. Perhaps a pharmacist can help us here?

I agree with others and would suggest not taking Lamisil (terbinafine) while
breastfeeding. To treat a big toe nail, the person would have to take it for
more than 2 months usually (probably 4 months) until the new nail has grown.
Topical treatment could be tried in the meantime.
