Hi Debra

Many mums (myself included) experience significant nipple pain at ovulation,
menstruation and during pregnancy.

This also happens when baby is teething, even before teeth erupt.

Could any of these be possible for this mum??

cheers
Del

Subject: nipple pain

Ladies, Please help me with suggestions for a mom. She is a co worker and I
have permission to post. Her baby is 8 months old, exclusively breastfed,
EBM
via bottle when mom is working. In the past few days, mom has been
experiencing significant nipple pain when baby nurses or when she pumps. No
redness, no signs of yeast in mom or baby, doesn't describe it as burning,
but
states it is severe enough to bring her to tears at times. No big changes
with
mom or baby, no new foods, sippy cups, no new detergents or soaps at home.
No new birth control for mom. Any ideas? Thanks! Deb Ray, RNC, Frankfort, KY
