Has anyone seen the article entitled "The Truth About Breast-feeding" by Julia
Glass in Glamour magazine, June 1998?  Please get it if you can.  I would be
interested to get your feedback.  Has a very negative slant from a
mother/author who breastfed 8 months.  Some things are true enough, especially
about pediatricians, but she puts down LCs, LLL leaders, and the AAP new
guidelines.  I know about this because one of the nurses who is unsupportive
of bf on our unit, put it up and wrote on the front page of the article "Why
don't we give THIS article to new breastfeeding mothers?", obviously written
in a sarcastic tone.  She underlined and circled many negative excerpts from
the article.  Loni Denman, RN, IBCLC  (Glamour Magazine?  Now don't nurses
have something better to read?)
