Hi Nikki,
Thanks for the suggestion....unfortunately this paper uses 8 months or more
of breastfeeding as the oldest category. However, Horwood and Fergusson's
research is very interesting. In one of their earliest papers they find that
breastfeeding impacted social adjustment in youg children but they can't
really believe it and use statistical tools to try to explain away the
results....I wonder now given that subsequent research on the same children
has found real differences whether they might see their earlier research
differently. I should try to contact them.
