Pat, I know the dad is the dad and has rights over his
baby, but why does this couple feel that the one
parent can veto clipping the frenulum?  I think that
needs to be explored, somehow.

I'm curious if there is support from anyone in the
preceeding generation, like the other baby.  Maybe mom
or dad were born tongue-tied?  In the archives are
accounts of dads getting theirs snipped at the same
time as their baby did and they were happier about
having it done.
