Wendy, I worked with a mom who was breastfeeding her baby and only had one  
arm.  One thing to keep in mind is she is doing many things with one arm  that 
you would expect would take two.  What helped was a good breastfeeding  pillow 
(which I agree with NIikki--I almost never use with moms) that was easily  
adjusted to match her body and her baby.  Also, a sling helped a lot when  the 
baby was a bit older.  Lying down was even easier.  We worked on  showing her 
the best positions for self attachment.  There was no milk  supply issue once 
her baby came home from NICU so that was never an issue.   She also had great 
support at home and her breastfeeding was expected and  encouraged.
