Hi lactnetters,
I posted a few months ago about a mom with a lump near her areola.
Thanks to the lactnetters who gave me the names of surgeons in the NY area.
The mom was advised to keep nursing and the lump is being followed by her
surgeon at this time, no surgery and she continues to nurse.
I have another mom who gave me permission to post, a small breast
calcification was found before she became pregnant with her third child,
she nursed her other two children. A local surgeon advised her not to
nurse, she would like another opinion. I cannot find in an archive search
the names of the surgeons in the 50 mile radius around NYC that I received
from fellow lactnetters last time. If any of you read this, would you mind
e-mailing some of the names you sent before. TIA.
What do you think of one-sided nursing if this mom is advised not to
nurse in the breast with the small calcification? She says the surgeon and
her husband don't understand her desire to nurse her third child is very
strong.
