I agree that there can be a "stigma" attached to the support group
concept.  The hospital where I work has a "new moms group"  It is "an
informal discussion group" for moms (all moms, not just those who BF,
although the majority of them do) and babies under 6 months old.  It
used to be called the "new moms' midweek break" but it got shortened
to "the new moms' group" because that's what everyone else called it
(like Federal Express officially becoming FedEx).
