If they just added a stepson to the house, then they may qualify for WIC now
due to the increased family size.  It's worth a look anyway.

Not sure of the financial
situation except that they are just over the qualifiers for WIC. I am
leaning toward stress in the house and the inadequate pump as the two
driving factors here. I just wanted to make sure I covered all the bases
since I am studying for IBCLC after being a peer counselor for many years.
I listen carefully to the mom and try to suggest/advise what will work for
her, but I am not very experienced in clinical matters and therefore
always afraid that I may miss something "wrong with the baby" in my
inexperience.
