I would tend to agree with Karen that human milk on the burns at this 
point might contribute to fungal growth. Lavender essential oil is the 
best topical treatment available for burns, including second and third 
degree burns. I would be slathering it on the baby. The homeopathic 
remedy cantharis is also very effective and would use it as well.
