My dentist, whose wife is a psychiatrist, calls Dr. Phil "the Jerry
Springer of pop psychology".  She has absolutely no respect for him at
all.  His show is meant to sensationalize - that's why people tune in.
Knowing how he has acted towards topics of bed-sharing, weaning, gentle
parenting, etc., I'd give him a wide berth on the topic of nursing in
public.
