Okay, so does the lack of response indicate the lack of answers?  Haha. I am
really hoping that someone on this list has at least once worked with a
breastfeeding mother with 70% renal failure on a minimal protein allowance. She is
not on dialysis.  She is pregnant and wants to breastfeed her baby. Now I am
wondering if the need for protein during lactation would be higher without
damaging the kidneys further?  Is there no answer and that is why we cannot find
one?
