Was someone asking about hernia in infants and breastfeeding?? I
have been away and deleted some lactnets (horror!!!).
I don't think breastfeeding will help resolve a hernia that is already
present, but there is one article at least that demonstrates that
breastfed babies have a lower incidence of hernia.

Pisacane, A. "Breast-feeding
and inguinal hernia" Journal of Pediatrics 1995:

                    Vol 127, No. 1, pp 109-111

I haven't read the article, but it may be worth checking.

Hope this helps

Fiona
