OK, the banners from the Sears site are gone, but during this discussion we
have heard that he has links with Wyeth and sits on the board of Martek.
Will he be ending those associations completely?  What evidence will he
provide?

Isn't it important not only that he *is* independent, but that we can be
assured that he (or anyone else who gives information about breastfeeding)
is independent of companies which have an interest in the outcomes of
women's infant feeding choices?

If he continues an association (and I stress 'if') then he is giving
information which may be coloured by that association and, by eliminating
the advertising, will be doing so in a way which means most people will have
no idea that his info may be subject to this bias.
