Dear Jane,
My Supervisor does this very same routine. I think it's her last ditch
effort to EDUCATE even when the patient thinks they have turned her off
concerning bf promotion. I feel it really does make a difference because
I've seen some of the same patients come back with the next pregnancy
determined to bf this time! I've found they share this information with
their peers. And, I have seen a few change their mind and bf-or call us
postpartum interested in initiating a bf relationship. It's all about
EDUCATION and taking advantage of EVERY opportunity to EDUCATE. Thank you
for reminding me!
