PTP, pregnant mom has firmness, like "caked breast" in the entire upper inner quadrant of her left breast, states it's "always there", no warmth or redness.  This is her second pregnancy, she had milk production issues with her first and the left side always produced less.  

Is anyone familiar with solutions for resolving this sort of mass?  Wondering about castor oil packs, eliminating caffeine, increasing fiber, adding evening primrose oil.  Would a therapeutic ultrasound be helpful?  I'm more familiar with fibrocystic breasts being lumpy, not such a large solid mass . . .
