I also want to announce that the state of Indiana is set to launch our new
breastfeeding state plan. It was decided that our state was not receptive
to the Born to Breastfeed campaign pictures (we were not all happy with this
decision, but many felt we needed our own tailored campaign) so we have
called our campaign Born to be Breastfed (we checked to be sure it was ok to
use this first). Our state plan, also bearing this slogan, is called A Call
to Action. There is a link to the entire document on this website if you'd
like to see it. We spent two years getting to this point, and are ready to
move into the next phase of putting the words into actions. We are having a
news conference next week at a large company here with a good breastfeeding
program for their employees to announce the launch of the plan. Here's
hoping that Indiana can join the big leagues with regard to breastfeeding!

Our Safe Infant Sleep brochure is also on this site under "Providers", but
it hasn't been updated to the new one yet. Hopefully in a week or two, that
will happen.
