With all due respect to Kerry, and to take credit where credit is due-my husband is the 
national editor at the Times who is responsible for coverage of the Houston area, as well as 
philathropies, and I told him about the Ronald McDonald House story as soon as I read it on 
Lactnet.  That is why it was covered.  Had it been in Los Angeles, I might have told him as 
well, but he would not have been able to assign the story to one of "his" reporters.
