Today I was reading "Mother Nature" by Sarah Hardy and was intrigued when
she raised the possibility of babies receiving oxytocin through their
mother's milk when they breastfeed. I had not heard this before and no
referencing on this point was provided. Is this possible? Could this be part
of the reason why breastfeeding is pleasureable to babies/provides
comfort/analgesia? Does anyone know anything about this or could suggest
where I might find more information?
