Valerie states:

<<The only way that I see that people can put the brakes on this widespread
commercialism of human milk is to deny the researchers and companies access
to
human milk. I think many of us support milk banking because we know what a
life-giving gift this is for infants. That support should continue but I
think
there are many of us who don't want to see this "gift of life" going to
Nestle
or Mead Johnson or some pharm company.>>

It might be interesting to contact each of the milk banks and find out
exactly what happens to ALL the milk that is donated. How much of what is donated
is actually distributed to hospitals/parents for use for babies, and how
much is sold for research?

It's difficult to find out who is sleeping with whom, but it can be done.
What sometimes looks very innocuous (as Valerie points out over and over
again), isn't.
