Kathleen got the "snowball" image correct but the snowball is not in Hades;
It is rolling downhill, gathering size, speed, momentum as it goes.

Betty Crase, for those of you who may not know, is relatively new to
breastfeeding.  She has only devoted about the last forty years of her life
to supporting nursing and infants' health.   (The previous few years were
devoted to more frivolous concerns.)
Any assault on her role in this fiasco is misguided and incorrect.

The American Academy of Pediatrics, for those of you who may not know, has
accepted funding and other support from the formula industry for decades.
They have also done a lot of wonderful things for the health of the world's
children, but this blind spot is very concerning.  They also issue the most
important certification a pediatrician can have and "messing" with them is
dangerous to one's professional health.  Any assault on their role in this
fiasco is properly directed and correct.


I will do this as fast as I can--but I have to go to work now--but I would
appreciate help in posting email addresses of AAP officials (President, etc)
and LLLI officials.
