    thought i had sent answer to this...search of both meds indicate that
NEITHER is contraindicated while bf....

    benadryl: '"small but unreported levels are thought  to be excreted into
the breast milk....only probable side effect would be slight drowseness in
infant" dr. h. p. 48

    cortisone: "small amounts secreted into bm....doses of 80mg/day in
mothers  insignificant absorbtion in infants" dr.h. p.94
