I have a 2 wk old, with poor wt gain, lots of sleepy behavior. Full term
7#9oz, Vag deliv. Some 'episodes' of siezure like behavior in nursery after
birth, then no further concerns, except for sleepiness, hard to rouse. Now
seems to have rapid breathting while nursing. Sometimes nurses well, but
must be stimulated much of the time. Transferred 0.9 oz/28 grams from one
breast today. Wt 3 oz less than 5 days ago. Mom is on Welbutrin and
Cymbalta.--both L3 drugs. She was on these thru the pregnancy. She has MS
and is not on any drugs for that at this time. Baby is being worked up for
possible cardiac or respiratory issues.
My question, would any of you be as worried about the 2 antidepressants
as I am?
