Dear Colleagues,
    My immediate response to Nancy Holtzman's posting of a news headline
about a mid-up with babies was:   What! They still have a *nursery* in
this day and age!
    This is my ploy if I have a hospital tour and see a well-baby
nursery: "You still have a *nursery*!" said in surprised tones.  It
makes the point.  What of course is needed is lots of education about
the disadvantages of separating Mum and baby - and news items such as
this one, which appeals to the emotions, go a long way to supporting the
scientific material.
