I was recently helping a mother with symptoms that I have generally felt
could mean thrush (deep burning pain 1-2 hours after nursing). On physicial
exam there was no evidence of mastitis or a plugged duct. Someone else had
told here she was having spasm of the milk ducts. This was not something I
have heard of before. Is this a real entity or something made up to cover
ignorance?
