At the LLL conference in July I attended a talk by Chele Marmet on inverted
and adhesed nipples. She made the distinction and stated that the adhesed
nipple keeps reopening a scab so to speak so that after each nursing there is
a renewed abrasion. She did have some good suggestions for adhesed nipples.
Perhaps this may be the case with your Mom?
