Yep reckon so...
I was recently asked to participate in a UNICEF training meeting in the Philippines. I was pleased to be asked but knew that I could not do so unless I took my youngest with me- she's not a baby or toddler, she's 7 but has had a rotten early life and has only been with us for a year. I thought that if any org should get the needs of a traumatised child it would be UNICEF- and I was correct- no worries at all to bring her.
IBLCE should acknowledge and appropriately support the needs of mothers and babies- it's hypocritical not to.

She is p...off, charging 'us' of discrimination and inconsistency with our goals. While I acknowledge the need for standard procedures I wonder whether there is some truth in her words ...
