I did not say that women cannot bf and utilize daycare or that they should
not . What I said is that we should not be promoting daycare. By including
coupons, etc for anything, we are in effect advocating for that product or
service and ultimately normalizing it. Isn't this the argument against
formula gift packs? While women have always worked while mothering children
(in 13 years of mothering, I have had paid work for all but one year), but
this does not mean that the standard Western methods of daycare from early
infancy onward are something we should give a medical stamp of approval at
birth.
