I am a UCLA CLE who has just been hired into a brand new Lactation position at a community hospital doing about 100 births a month.  I have been teaching in the local nursing program for about 7 years so I'm very familiar with how bad things are with staff help (or lack of it), supplementation all night for majority of babies, etc.  I'm starting by rewriting the policy (which doesn't really support breastfeeding at all) but would like suggestions about what documentation and patient education info people who are working in hospitals are using?  Any suggestions would really be appreciated.  Thanks.
