Are there any guidelines out there on whether or not it is ok to donate
blood while breastfeeding?? This has come up on LLLOL and no one seems to
have any info.  14 years ago Red Cross would not let b/f moms donate. Last
month I was told by United Blood Services that the guidelines have changed
and it is OK to donate even while lactating. Anyone?? Janet. (LLL Leader for
12 years, mother of five)
