Interesting subject. Some questions that have occurred to me are: what prompted the milk culture? Did mom get tested for antibodies to the virus? --she obviously has the virus, so I'm assuming she produced antibodies to the virus to pass on to baby, unless she has a condition that prevented her from creating antibodies. Is an infectious disease specialist involved? I can't imagine not providing breast milk to this infant, as I'd believed HIV was the only disease that precludes breastfeeding (and then, only in developed countries)
Eager to hear from others on this.

Does this indicate that she is making immunities for this to protect baby or did she pass it on? Now that the baby has the virus too, does it matter that it is in the milk? Should she feed her milk with the virus to the baby?
