It's an interesting article that I think largely misses the
point. It focuses on ways to get the health care system
involved in prevention. Nowhere does it look at
the possibility that these women's partners are more
violent after the birth of a child, with all the demands
that birth involves for new mothers (and, one would hope,
fathers too.)
Anyway, I pass on the URL for those interested in reading it.
Not directly lactation related, but it should be, that's
part of the point.
