Sorry I can't add any information except, Wow! I've heard several of our 
most respected LCs here in the USA say they have never known a baby with a 
cleft palate who could nurse before repair. They'd heard lots of stories, 
however.  Perhaps this mother you speak of has a strong milk ejection, 
leaking milk, along with her very elastic breasts which may be well extended 
into the mouth and covering part of the cleft.  This is amazing. Hope it 
continues. I had a friend whose premies simply swallowed the milk that 
leaked profusely from her breasts. Almost no sucking or compression was 
involved.
