Mary,

Although I am still an intern - when I do consults (with my LC mentor), we
only use gloves when doing digital exams and helping with the milk collection
and teaching storing practices. I also feel that we need to be able to "feel"
the moms breasts. I can not imagine not being able to assess a mothers breasts
correctly because the gloves were in the way. So yes you are right (although
I do not have as much experience as you all do). I would love to thank all of
you wonderful people out there that have been so helpful to me in my learning
experience. To all of you in USA Happy Thanksgiving - to all of you abroad
Happy Holidays to you too!

Sincerely,
Donna Kimick
